TRIAL OF MR STEAD.
MR STEAD AND MRS JARRETT FOUND GUiLTY> ;
SENTENCES DEFERRED,
(electric telegraph. — copyright.) (reuter's telegrams.) London, Nov. 7. The trial of Mr Stead and others ooncerned m the Lily Armstrong case was concluded to-day, when Mr Stead and Mrs Jarrett were found guilty of abduction, Messrs Booth and Jacques being acquitted. Sentence on the prisoners was deferred pending the result of the trial for indecent assault m connection with the same case.
