The passengers have presented a highly complimentary address to Captain Chatfield, and subscribe.! a sum of money tor the stewardesses. The individual losses of passengers are exceptionally heavy. Investigation seems to show that the origin of the firo was the bursting of a kerosene lamp left alight m the boat room. :
