The Post repeats, on the distinct authority of the Minister of Public Works, that he has dispensed with the services of 70 employes. The officers dispensed with include Enjririeers, assistant Engineers, surveyors, overseers and foremen of works, as well as the entire staff recently engaged m looating four large sections of the North Island Trunk Railway, which had it not been for Captain Russell's motion would have been ready for contract before the end of this year; >
