Mr Francis Bradey notifies by advertisetnerit an'art unioh of oil paintings of New Zealand scenery to take place so soon as the subscription list is filled up; The price of tickets is half a guinea, and the total number of tickets j iSO. The paintings are now on view at Messrs Mitchell and Stutter's furniture establishment, where the public can inspect them at any time and the views, mostly representing local scenery, are well worth the inspection of all- lovers } of art. The following is a list of the picture's :— Porirua Bay, Horowhenu4 Lake, fishing boats at Porirua Heads, snip " Wild Duck" at sea, Nghauranga Line showing the coach entering Wellington, Lake Wanaka, Waterfall Pahautanui, bush scene ' Burinythorpe, Manawatu River from the Fitzherbert Bridge, showing tbe butts range and boat-shed, Otaki River, Paikakariki, showing the coach descending the hill side the open sea and tlie strand with Maori whare close by, New Zealand Shipping Coinpanu's Ruapehuatsea. As only a limited number of tickets can be procuredy application should be .made early at Messrs Mitchell and Stutter's warehouse.
