Service of Song.

A Service of Sacred Song will be given m the Presbyterian Church on Friday next. The service will be illustrative of the Pilgrim's Progress, having been specially compiled and arranged with adapted connective readings. The scenes will bo illustrated by the new dissolving view apparatus invented by Mr Shailer. The readings will be given by the Rev. A.M. Wright, and the musical selections by the church choir and friends. After the Service of Song, a number of other views will be exhibited. The proceeds will be m aid of a fund for the external painting of the church, and we trust that a substantial pecuniary return will be the result. The service is now m active rehearsal and should pass off very successfully.
