POLITICAL NEWS.
The Wellington correspondent =o.f the Hawke's Bay Herald writes, as, follows : — I have gP°d authority for stating that a re construction of the Ministry will take place almost immediately, but the retiring Ministers are not vet known. Bunion r has it ; that tlie Premier and the Colonial Secretary (Mr Buckley^ are certain to leave the Cabinet, and amongst those mentioned to fill up the vacancies caused is Mr Garrick, the member for St. Albari3, who lias been a warm supporter of the Stout- Vogel Cabinet since its forinatioh. Mr Garrick, 1 liear, has been sounded on the subject, but he is not disposed to entertain tlie proposal m consequence of the rather unsatisfactory state of matters this session .
