Feilding Railway Station
The Minister of Public Works has forwarded the following letter to Mr Macaftlinr,M:H.R., m reply to his representations aneut. the Fell ding Railway Station r— '•■• Eailway -Department, . Sm,— With reference to your lett«*r ot rj 2n^,J.uly;laßt,:inaking representations as .to -the;.. insufficient accommodation at - -Pending station, I have the honor to inform yon that a sum has been authorised for the enlargement of the goods shed at that place, and the other complaints as to latrine accommodation &<\, will be remedied as far as possible j but I regret to Bay there, are no funds available at present for carrying out any fur ther alterations- or improvements as suggested by you.— l have, &c, Edward Ric-HARDSon, ; Minister for Public Works. D. H. Macarthur, Esq., M.H.R., Feilding. ■From the Star we learn that the , foundations for the additions to ' ! tli§ goodshed at the Railway Station are now nearly completed. I.t is expected that tenders for the erection of the building will be invited m a very short time.
