A special general meeting * of the members of the Wanganui Jockey Club will be held on Tueslay, the 13th of October, at 7 p.m. The business is as follows : — Mr A. J. Parsi/ns to inov>-, That annual tickets be issued by th«> club, entitling the holders thereof nnd one lady friend to nil the privileges ot the racecourse at £2 each, the holders not to have any voice .m the manageineut of .the Club's affairs. Mr J.Paul to move, That any owner wishing .to change the name of a horse must give the secretary one month's notice of such intention prior to the horse taking any part m any race meeting, and that such owner must pay the secretary, the sum of £2 2s, the secretary to give notice of such change to all Clubs, and advertise it m the Referee. The following new members will be ballotted for : — Messrs H. Binndell,Fred. Harrison, and Michael Hogan.
