(UNITED PRKSS ASSOCIATION.") Masterton, Thursday. In the District Court the action Official Assignee v. Hawkings (Kaiwarra) was heard. Plaintiff claimed possession of a horse and cart and 200 sheep or their value, alleged to have been wrongfully handed over by G. Bowles within three months of his bankruptcy. The jury gave a verdict for defendant, on the ground that the disposal arose out of a legit'mate transaction, dating back 1 to November last.
