Musical and Dramatic Club.
At the general meeting of the above club, convened for 8 o'clock at the Club ■Hotel last evening, • there were d'nly pre • sent Messrs McKenna, Mitchell, TPirani, Hawkins, Dungan, and Healy. In the absence of the Secretary wljo wrote stating he was unable to attend through press of business, Mr Pirani acted pro tern. The minutes of the" last general meeting were read and confirmed. Letters were also read from Messrs Haybittle (Secretary), and Abraham' (stage manager), tendering their resignations of office, the former offering to continue to act as Treasurer. Mr McKenna at this juncture proposed that as the . meeting was so thinly attended, arid atso as those officers resigning were not present, the meeting would be adjourned to Monday next. Mr Pirani suggested that it would be advisable to read the balance sheet first, this was objected to and Mr McKenna's motion was seconded by Mr Hawkins and carried. The meeting then adjourned.
