Parmerston North Burgess Roll.
A Bill Intituled an Act to amend "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1876," enable a Burgess Roll to he formed for Palmerston North. WJiereasit is desirable to amend " The Corporations Act, 1876,' {hereinafter called' 1 the said Act)". Be it therefore enacted by the General Assembly of New. Zealand in 'Parliament . assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows : — The Short Tittle of this Act. is "The Municipal Corporations Act 1870 Amendment Palmerston North Burgess Roll Act, 1885." ..■.'•■■ Struck Out.— No proceedings under section sixty-three of the said Act, shall be commenced without the written consent of the Attorney-General, and tlie amount of the penalty recovered, less any ex : p jnses. incurred f ty. the viformant, to be fixed bij the Justices hearing theinformation, shall be paid into tJie borough funds.
