Captain Rose pointed out that there was plenty of room on the reclaimed land on which to sing hymns. Mr fiteaton thought it would be a good idea to have a gate at ihe end of tho wharf. Captain Williams said the wharf waß just as public a place as one of the streets, and you could not shut up a man|s' mouth for singing there. The Chairman pointed out that bands of music playing on the wharf was dangerous to horses, am] thought the by-law should be adopted. Captain Williams : And I hope it won't.
