(UNITED I'RKS.S ASSOCIATION.) i Wellington, Monday. The executive committee of tho New Zealand Exhibition have made arrangements by which Mi G. A. Sala will give two lectures m tlie Exhibition building before taking his departure from the colony. A verdict of found drowned was returned on the body of the infant foil ad floating m the harbor yesterday. The Wellington and Wairarapa Acclimatisation Society made tlie following distribution of salmon fry, hatched out at Ihe Masterton fish ponds, from ova imported by Mr Farr from Scotland : — Six thousand three hundred were liberated m the head waters of tho Mauawatu on account of the Napier society, 5600 m the Hutt River, and 200 sent to Wanganui.
