The Wellington and Wairarapa Acclimatisation Society made tlie following distribution of salmon fry, hatched out at Ihe Masterton fish ponds, from ova imported by Mr Farr from Scotland : — Six thousand three hundred were liberated m the head waters of tho Mauawatu on account of the Napier society, 5600 m the Hutt River, and 200 sent to Wanganui.
