MESSRS HUNTER AND NOLAN'S REPORT.
Horses. — There, has nob been very much stirring during the past week to chronicle. The number submitted to auction last Friday at the Durham yarn's was an average one, and prices rojed about the same as the previous week. We quote hacks at from £5 to £14 10s ; light harness horses, from £13 to £22 ; medium draughts, i-27 10s. Wool, Hides, and Skins. — Moderate supply and steady demand, We quote hides at from 2sd to 3M per lb ; skins, f rom 2s lOd to 3s 6rl. " Fat cattle were yarded sufficient for requirements, but there was an upward tendency m value for wpll-fatted steers on the average, although very few fetched 24s per 1001 b. Fat Sifeep.— There was a good number on Tuesday, but through a draft of merino being withdrawn the butchers' pens were scarcely sufficiently stocked, and there was an advance m value of f ully Is per head. " * Pigs.— A good many were yarded, and competition was keen for those of a good description at from 2£d to 3|d per ft live Weight. -.*■■■
