Our lßsue.of this week's Saturday Supplement will be found exceedingly inieresting. The serial tale "His One. is continued, and the chapters' for Saturday will sustain- the power of the. story which all readers have remarked. 'Ih the Farmers' Column ar« the items ."'A. Cattle Queen " and " Short Talks with the : Boys," the latter from the Detroit Free Press. The Science chapter comprises a treatise "On Brainwork and Hand-work.'? In the Boys' Column is an amusing story, entitled j 4 Tom Sing," which our juvenile friends will thdroughiy appreciate. In the Poet's Corner we have "Jack's Yarn," A Sweetheart's Suggestion,", and 1* A Bathetic, Tale. I .' Anionsr theniiscellaneous; items are,." Count Demmdoff and the ¥ounsr Attache. " "Elleßton .and; George the Third," "ftp.,. &c. The Fun and Humour column comprises "Don't Fret," !'A Few Beasons, 1 ' ? How Pat Bought His House." Altogether the Supplement contains an excellent and capitally as-sorted-selection of-, reading matter. We, are glad to hear that put readers' recognise p.ur. endeavours to give them what n.q q^lier newspaper m the district does, viz., a first-class supplement m addition to the daily newspaper, and without any additional charge for Subscription.
