Messrs George Thomas and Co. report produce prices as follows : — A slight upward tendency is noticeable m best brands of flour, which cannot now be bought under £7 10* f.0.b., at shipping ports. Oats remain firm at last week's rate 3, 2s 2d to 28 4tl, and we look for still higher quotations' as the season draws to a close. Potatoes do not come forward at all freely ; either stocks m the Colony arc becoming exhausted, or farmers are holding for higher prices ; present rates rule from £4, bags m. The following lines are' without alteration, therefore a brief resume 1 of ruling values is deemed sufficient information :— Oatmeal, £11 ss; fo.wls' wheat, 2sßii to 2s 9d ; feed barley, 2s 3d • maize, 4s ; pollard, £5 ; bran, £4 10s ; kidney potato 33, £3 ; honey, sd ; hams, 9£d : bacon, B£d ; cheese is almost out of the market, and lully worth 6d to 6±d perlb. Fruit has been quite unobtainable this week, but we look for f nil sup plies on Monday from Sydney and Fiji. Apples are scarce, and the market will remain bare for a few days, pending Hobart shipments, which no doubt will meet with ready sale. Poultry is rather scaree — Fowls rule from 4s 3d ; ducks, 4s 6d ; turkeys, 10s ; geese, 7s per pair.
