Serious Accident.
A son of Mr B. N. Keeling met with a severe accident last evening just as he was leaving the English Church. The young man haippened to be one of the last: to leave the building, and on stepping from the door slipped on a board which was lying on the ground outside. An attempt .to get to his feet proved fruitless, and being assisted inside the church the foot was uncovered and found to be considerably swollen. Mrs Snelson, who' was present, generously suggested his removal to her own house, which was at once done and medical aid sent for immediately. Until the arrival of the doctor every possible attention was paid the sufferer by Mrs Snelson who did everything m her power to alleviate the pain which he was evidently experiencing. Dr Marriner soon arrived, and on examination found a bad sprain had been sustained, slight dislocation and &mall bone broken. The accident will necessitate lying up for some weeks to cuip, and will require every care to be taken to ensure eventual recovery of the injured limb. We believe an Accident Insurance policy is possessed by the invalid who is an apprentice to the printing business, and engaged at Mr Leary's office.
