Messrs Laery and Campbell report that there is no alteration worth mentioning for the week except m potatoes, which have decidedly hardened. The following prices may be quoted as values ruling to-day : — Flour, £8 ; sharps, £5 5s to £5 10s ; bran, £4 5s to £4 10s ; oatmeal, £10 10s to £10 15s •, potatoes, 70s to 75s ; onions £1 to £11 ; oaten hay chaff, £4 to £5 ; hay, £4 to £4 10s ; straw, £3 to £3 10s ; no salt butter is m market ; really prime fresh butter, Is to Is Id ; eggs, lOd to lid ; bacon and hams, 8d to 9d ; poultry m demand at, for fowls, 3s fid to 3s 9d ; ducks, 3s 9d to 4s per pair ; turkeys, 5s to 6s each. At the horse sale on Saturday there were a tair amount of entries, and, with one exception, every horse was sold, realising more than owners' values.
