Messrs George Thomas and Co., report produce prices' as -folio wsli— Since last report a further advance has taken place in potatoes (prime Derwents), which are now firm at 753 ; kidneys and other white sorts, however, still' hang fire from £2 per ton. Oats have active inquiry from 2s to 2s 3d par bushel for good feeding sorts; Fowls' wheat is in' light supply at 2s 9d per bushel. Flour is- -still very hard to move, colonial rules from £7 15s to £8 15s, and Adelaide £11 15s to £12 ;10s. Oatmeal, maize, barley, pollard, and bran have usual inquiry at unaltered rates. There is a slight stir in the cheese market, for good .qualities, which are )jow fully worth s£d. Factory cure hams an<l bacon (smoked) remain firm at B^l and 9d ; lard, 7d; honey, sd; fresh but. ter, Is 2d to Is 3d ; eggs, which oome forward in large quantises from all parts, cannot be quoted safely over lOd ■ per dozen. Fruit— rThe non-arrival of shipments this week has enabled holders to move off the principal portion of their consignments, and we now look for increased demand and quotations for both Sydney and Hobarfc products. We trutt our anticipations may be verified. Fowls are eagerly inquired for at 3s 9d ; ducks, 4s ; geese, 7s ; turkeys, 11s per pair.
