Messrs George Thomas and Co. report produce prices as follow : — Prices are very firm, short feed, 2s 3d; Danish and tartars from 2s to 2s 2d.. Potatoes also have increased demand, and £3 10s is now the acknowledged market rate per ton. Good whole fowls' wheat cannot be obtained, except at an advance on late quotations, and we now affect sales at 2s Gd to 2s 9d per bushel ; prime onions aro worth .£lO per ton ; cheese firm at sd, and other linos are without any features of alteration. Flour is heavily overstocked, and nominally quoted at £8 to £8 10s; oatmeal dull. £11 ; maize. 4s Gd ; feed barley, 2s 3d ; swede turnips, 50s ; mongolds, 50a ; kidney seed potatoes, demand limited, £3 ; hivan, £4 10s ; Bollard, £>5 ; haras and bacon (factory cure), Bid ; farmers', unsaleable ; fresh butter, Is 4d ; salt butter, very few' prime parcols now offering, 10c! to 10id ; eggs, Is 4:1 ; honey, m tins, sd. Oranges, 7s to fts ; lemons, 8s to 12s : mandarins, 10s ; JTohart eating apples, 7s Gd to 8s ; cpokinff samples from 7s to 7s 6d. Poultry is-unaltored.
