RUN IN THE HOUSE.
; The New York Times' London special June 25, says there was immense excite'inent and lausrhter m the Commons this evening over the change of seats, by which the Conservatives took possession 6f the Government-* benches and the Whigs and Badicals "found accommodation on those of the Opposition. The. only members who did. not cross the, line, were -'the PamellitesY They' we're ihvitea b^ the Conservatives to go with them, so as to make -the majority against, .the Government at least look a little smaller, but they declined, and the result proved their shrewdrfess m remaining bn.the'Op-. position side. They were enabled to take their choice of seats after the Conservatives left and betore the Liberals arrived, and they promptly monopolised the best positions below the gangway.. Now they are chuckling at the Liberals, who find themselves not only m the >Op^ position half of the hall, but m the back' seats of that. Mr Forster alone, by early smartness, managed to secure /& seat equal to, and exactly opposite .his; former place. The House of Lords-not being m session, about thirty peers sb.t m the peers' gallery enjoyingf'the fun.'"*
