An application was made to the Judge yesterday m the totalisator dispute case, to have plaintiff's claim amended so as to show the time and place where the slanders wore uttered. Holmes, M.H.E., stating that Sir Julius Yogel, m accordance with the request of the Farmers' Co-operative Association of Canterbury, has promised to insert a clause m the' Insurance Cdmipanics Bill shortly to be introduced, which will enable mutual insurance associations to be established, having smaller capital than that at present suggested namely, £500,000. "
