Tannery Company.
the Palmerston Tannery and Fellmongery Company, is, we think, the only local industry promoted by a -company that has succeeded m .Palmers* ton. The business of this establishment, is, we understand, fast increasing and will, no doubt, continue to prosper as its transactions become moire widely known. At tUe.presenktime the quantity of wool exported to the London Markets, is considerable, besides large packages of skin and basils, which are also/disposed of advantageously. Hides are always, placed m the best markets either Australian or Home, and realize exceptionally good prices. The promoters of the company deserve credit for- the tact energy and perserverance displayed m their management of the' concern, and' should receive the patronage and support of the settlers m thisand adjoining districtg.Any information required, wiU be supplied at the Factory, Terrace End, or by Mr A. Peterson, the Square.
