(by telegraph.) (from our own correspondent.),. , Waitara, Wednesday. ' The shipping hero to-day is unusually brisk. There are m port steamers Haurake, St.Kilda, Gairloch, andßqwena, and Waitara, schooners Cora, and Colonist, and barguentine Waireka. The sailing Vessels and steamer St. Kilda are discharging coal. The Gairloch, Rowena, and Hauraki embark stock. The principal passenger- traffic and from Anckland appears to come this way and there is a constant influx of travellers. The stojk trade is assuming very large dimensions, and the port is likely to become a place of considerable importance m the near future. The Taranaki Farmers' Co-operative Association is winding up its affairs. A director m an . advertisement m the Hawera Star impeaches the management and casts imputations on the manage.-.
