The minutes of the previous meeting having been read and* confirmed, the following correspondence was dealt with :— tFrom the railway manager, re Taonui .waterway and crossing. ; From J. Reid, application for slaughtering license. From A. Lang, - applying for assistance to cut away a corner on the Valleyroad. ! . ; •'■• " v The tenders for tha delivery of metal on the Stanway-road were opened:— J. Heappv, 6s 9d per cubic yard ; J. AitkVn, 5s per cubic yard ; and J. Managh, 6s 8d per cubic yard. Proppsediby Warden Lethbridge, and seconded by Warden Linton— That J.
