MESSES BECKETT, HAMMOND, AND DICK'S REPORT. Mabton, Saturday, Onr stock «ale held at the Club yards, yesterday, was -well attended, and the bidding for sheep was very brisk. Cattle were if anything a trifle duller than at previous sale. About 100 head of cattle and 1,500 sheep were yarded, most of which found buyers. We quote :— Cattle.— Yearlings and 18-months, 25s to 42 ; fat cows, inferior, £3 6a 6d ; 3-yr stews, £4 ss : milch cowb, £8 Is to £3 10s. Sheep.— Fat wethers, 11s 3d to 12s Id ; ewes m lamb, 9s to 9s 7d. Horses.— We sold a few hacks at value.
