New Zealand socunlies — 5 per cent. 10-40 loan, 104}, ex div ; 4£ per cent, 1879-1904 loan, 103 ; 4 percent, ingeribed stock, 99£. Colonial brendstuffs— Addaido wheat, ex Ktore,3sß 6.1 ; New Zealand ditto, 27s to 335«. Adolaide flour, 255. The total quantity oi wheat afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,400,000 quarters, or 260,000 quarters less than last week. Prime New Zealand mutton, s£d to 6Jd. W001.— 10,000 bales were offered at auctions. The market was flat The wneet market shows a slight lm—provememi. oh jast^qnotations. Two oflfcoast cargoes hT/Sbeen sold at 35s ; one off-co*st cargo and also one on passage have realised 34s 6d. For July shipment 37s has been obtained, It is estimated the yield of the American wheat crop will be largely below the average. At the wool sales the bidding was flat and irregular- For the series, 228,000 bales have been catalogued, of which 82,000 were withdrawn.
