Voyage of the Tekapo.
A -STORMY PASSAGE. The Union Steamship Company's steam or Tekapo arrived at Wellington from Sydney on Sunday, after a rough passage of seven* days. She furnishes the following report of her passage : — Left Sydney on Sunday, the 21st June, at noon. On June 22 had strong breeze and heavy easterly sea. Jane 23, experienced gale with heavy sea, which carried away cap of fore skylight and flooded the forecabin and saloon ; had to slow engines, as the vessel was shipping heavy seas, also rolling very heavily. Next day, gale still continuing, carried away forecastle door and flooded same sfcill going dead slow. June 25, gale moderating, but sea still running high. Afterwards moderate weather till arrival m port.
