The Awapurua Bridge.
OPENING, DEMONSTRATION. " (ONITfCD PRESS ASSOCIATION;) Woodville, Tuesday. | At a meeting held last night, it was | decided to hold a grand demonstration on July 9th, to celebrate the opening of the Awapurua traffic, and railway bridge over the Manawatn on the Forty-Mile Bush road, and connecting the Wairarapa and Woodvilie Districts. ' Invitations are to be issued to "the Governor,^ the Minister of Public Works, and the members of the districts interested, also the Public Works Officers, and J. V. Carr, late District Engineer, under whose supervision the greater part of the : work was carried on.
