Stevens and Gorton's Report.
Bulls, Wednesday. We had a most successful sale 'at our !?eilding Yards yesterday. We yarded >ver 200 hsad of cattle and close on 1000 sheep. The attendance was good and bidding fairly spirited. We sold evpry aead of cattle and all the sheep ex'ceptng one pen of good wethers passed m at Us 3d. We quote the following rates :— Cattle.— Pat cows, £3 10s to £4 ; 3-yr ;teers, i' 4 7s 6d ; 2-yr steers, £3 to £3 Is 6d ; cows, £2 2s 6d to £2 ss ; heifers, 18-nionths to 2: y r, £2 ; mixed ye.arlin.gs io 18-montht, 355 ; mixed weaners, 22a. Sheep. — Ewes m lamb, 8s 9d ; fat ewes, Js 3d ; lambs, shorn, low condition, 3s 9d. Pigs 8s to 13s.
