Wool, Hides, and Skins. — Heavy hides scarcely worth so much ; light weight unaltered ; skins worth from Is 3d to 2s 7d eaoh ; wool, from 4£d to s£d per lb. Fat Cattle. — At Newmarket yards last Thursday there was a marked advance m the value of fat cattle, and beef realised fully £1 per head higher than on the previous week. Sheep were penned m average numbers and competition spirited throughout the sale. An adrance of from Is to 2s each was made, the rise m prime wetherg being most noticeable. Pigs. — Only a few came forward, and prices unaltered.
