(Herald ccrraspon^ent.) Taupo, Tuesday, Fire thousand sheep m three separate mobs, have passed .here for the northern markets. It is estimated, after careful, consideration, that fully 60,0C0 sheep hare this se«on passed through Taupo from HawkeS Bay for the Auckland and .northern markets. There has been a marked falling off m the supply of cattle and horses from Hawke'a Bay oM'ing to farmers m the Wp.ikato paying more attention to hojse and cattle rearing.
