Alleiulale, who vas arrested Jn Christchurch, made a clean breast of it to the , detective- this morning. He states that "Otclear away with his booty *hen he committed the burglary on the mornin* of the 27th, ? and placing it m an old whiskey cask buried it at the back of the WArb -Hotel. • His intentioa was to go to Svtlney. Mi being short of funds he went to Christchurch first to raise the wind V pawning some of the articles. He pawned 4 gold watches and 4 gold alberts there, which led to his detection, lW hen about returning, to Wellington. The articles were all found where stated. Accused intends to plead guilty.
