Further particulars which are published to-day " regarding the Simpson'- Road bank robbery shew that the affair was skilfully planned and carried into execution. The robbers effected an entrance intoths bu'lding through the window and awaited the arrival of the manager and assistant inside the bank. The attack was so sudden that resistance wa« impossible on the part of the victim^ who were g.vgged, bound hand and foot under the table- where eventually they were discovered. Total proceeds of the. robbery amount to £1175.
