The numbers are: — Mr Kerr, - 205 ; Mr Franklyn, 262 ; Mr White, 95 \ Mr Pencker, 92 ; Mr Wastney, 60 ; Mr ; - Piper, 33. Mr Kerr is a Government < supporter. Mr Po'ce, M.H R., addressed his con gtttuenta at Wanganui last evening. At tlw conclusion of his speech the following voto of thanks and confidence was unanimously arried :— "That this meetin" thanks Mr Bryce for his speech this evening, and bogs to express its cont;iu3d confidence m him us member tor th ; district."
