The new firm 'has a large and well assorted stock m all the different branches of the trade, and are m a position to supply every description- of goods at prices that will be found a con* siderable reduction on those hitherto ruling m Palmerston. They will be direct ,im-. porters on a large scale from Home, and are determined to keep up a full supply* of all descriptions of goods that prove suitable to the market. Their Home connection will enable them to save the charges tliat importers usually have to pay to buyers or agents, aud of this saving Messrs, Welch & Co. will give the retail purchasers the full benefit m greatly reduced prices. They can see that a good opening exists m Palmerston m their particular line, and they will leave no effort untried to secure an extensive connection,, and to prove to their customers that they can fulfil what they undertake m the way of giving the best value for money that can be given m • the district, and guaranteeing the quality of every article purchased at their establishment. We refer our readers to their business announcement appearing elsewhere, and from a casual look through the •shop premises and stock we can assure them that they need not m future go out of ■the district for any of those requirements which Messrs Welch k Co. undertake to supply both cheaper and also of better quality than are obtainable m the larger centres. We wish the new firm every success m their business undertakings, — fADVT.I
