FXlibT nUZtt, A.A. AND A.P. EX UIBITION 1883. aSIOOO Reward, CABTIOHf. ASK FOR HITCH EN'S Blood Restorer. The Great New eZeala n j Rmedy for Cleansing, Purifying, AND ',' , Invigorating tlie Blood. 7TIHE Proprietor, m explaining why X he has not for some time pushed thft sale of the abovej would state that j he received such a serious check by the disastrous fire which' destroyed costly appliances and a magnificent stock of' prepared herbs (recently replaced), and tie has not therefore been m a position to come befpre tlu> public. He has not been able to satisf) all the localand I foreign . demands, and was uuable to | administer a9 extensively as he could I have desired to tlie wants of a suffering world. Mr Hitchens is now happy ta state that he is once again m a position to supply this health-giving Medicine, which he is convinced will, " with the blessing of God," cure almost any disorder, uwing to its irrosistible yet gentle operation. In coming before. the public and planting his standard once more on the ramparts of the great enemy of raankin.i— ri.e . sickness — he trusts that: an overruling Providence will bless his future efforts to mitigate the physical woes of man. In this evening's Star appear a few of the hundreds of testimonials received by Mr HuchenS; one of which is from one of Auckland's best known citizens. , It requires no further comment tliau to say that his illness was of a most severe type, baffling the skill of medical men, while other infallible remedies were tried without the slightest change for the better. Here is what Captain Farquhar says of Hitchkns' Blood Restores. Auckland, October 15, 1883. Dear Sir,,-— .'.-... For twelve months I suffered severely from sciatica, aiid tried various remedies, 'without 1 avail, and as a last resource I was recommended to give your blood restorer, a trial, which 1 did, and 1 have much pleasure iv testifying that after taking it for three mouths I completely recovered my? health. I must say Iliad no faith iv It at first, but the result was such a thorough cure that I consider it my duty to acknowledge, unsolicited, its curative powers. — I am, Sir, faithfdlly ' yours, W, Farquhar, Master Mriuer," Potisouby. To H. A. H. Hitchens, Esq. The Proprietor would here intimate that
£f OOQ will be forfeited to any Charitable Institution if the good done by his medicine has been over-estimated. The proprietor is prepared to meet ! on. a public platform any persons who dispute the veracity of testimonials, and he will undertake to prove the genuineness of the cures effected. He is also willing to • meet m public the medical | gentlemen who have attended the patients and have. pronounced them m- j curable, and answer questions put rela- j tive to the facts of the cases quoted, j Medical men's names have, from motives of consideration, been excluded from all testimonials, but then personal acknowledgement would add increased brilliancy to the fame of the medicine. | ! > Mr Alexander Eagleton, Hairdresser, of Queen-street, Auckland, suffered with a paralysed arm, with ! every indication of the disease spreading through the body. The .doctors pronounced the case hopeless, and friends believed his end was drawing near, wheu he was induced to give Hitchens' Blood Restorer a trial, the result being an. immediate change for the better ; and on continuing to take the medicine, he was. completely restored to health and strength. •■' Sheridan-street, off Wellington-street, Auckland, December 1, 1882. j Mr Hitchens, ■ ' ' Dear Sir,— As you have asked me to describe my state at the time Mr McMillan recommended me to use your Blood Restorer, and the effect it had on me, I will simply say that whether it was Lumbago, Sciatica; or Paralysis that made me so helpless, I do not. know; but, at any rate, I was unable to stand, for nine months, and had to be lifted like a baby, and my taste was ■gone. Dr — — said I had an affection of the spine, and that I should never have the use of my .limbs again. He brought another medical man to see me, and I was told that / would probably live only a slwrt time, and it was no •use of tfieir Jwlding out false hopes. I thanked them, and felt as they did. Mr McMillan, liviig opposite, inquired what was the matter, and my husband told him. He at once said, " Let her take j Mr Hitchens' Blood Restorer, for I be- - lieve that will put her all right." 1 did I so, and after using the third bottle m the third week, I began to feel a change, and a tingling sensation m my limbs. Every subsequent bottie seemed to do me more good. The result is that after using eight bottles, I am now quite well, do my own washing, and all the house-work, aud feel quite as well as when I first came to New Zealand five years ago. I am always happy to tell people the good you did me, for I am sure I should not now be well aud hearty, but most likely m my grave, if I had uot put myself m your hands. — I am, dear sir, yours faithfully, FLORA NICOL. j ; , Witness — Henry Hartnoll, Nel-son-street. — I have much pleasure m testifying to the perfect accuracy of the above statement ~N. McMillan, Vulcan Lane, Auckland. H. A. H. Hitchens, ABERCUOMBIE-STKEET, AUCKLAND. F. BEAVEN, Agent for Paltnerston North.
