Messrs George Thomas and Co. report produce as follows :— -Oats—The market i« steady ; bright milling, 2s 3d to 2s id ; feed, 2a to 2s Id. Flour is m supply, but prices are now the lowest possible to clear cost— £B 10s to £9. Fowls' 'wheat iv good Bupply (there being large quantities of damaged gtaio m Canterbury) 2a 5d to 2i lOd. There is a deal of speculation !n' potatoes m the South, hi anticipation of higher rates ; Ya'ues here may be quoted at 65s (o 70s. Prime ooibus are scarce at £7 10s. Bacon and hams, new cure, have declined per lb; general demand for Chriatchurch cure at 9£d. Cheese, 4f d ; salt butter, B£d to 9*l ; honey r sd ; eggs, scarce at 2s 6d per doz ; turkeys, inquired for at 12s per pair ; geese, 6s 6d ; ducks, 4s; fowls, 3«6d.
