One of the first will be a panoramic viewof the Waimea Plaint and Tasnwn Bay, with Mount Arthur and, the Backbone Ranges m the distance. It is finely got up, the coloring being very faithful. The first book will contain different views of Milford Sounds, the Hot Lakes and geysers, Wuikato River, Tonjrariro, Ruapobu, Huka FaU^luburb* of Auckland, the tfppf r Harbor and Octagon at Dunedin, the Otago Peninsula, Lake Hawera,Lake Taupo, Mount Earnslay, &c. The book will also contain portraits of wellknown Maori chieikjf spch|*if Rowi, Major Te Wheovo, Renata, Kowepo, as well as portraits of tome very good-looking Maori wuhihes. It il intended; to issue a, scries of these hooks, which will contain appropriate letterpress. They will be forwarded to the Agent-General for difltributioa throughout Great Britain and ihe Continent. The books will tw a novel and attractive form of advertising, and will doubtless give a handsome retarn to the Colony for the expenditure, The pictures are got up by the photo* graphic process, and there will he abont two dozen m each book.-— Wei lington paper.
