It will be seen by the telegrams which appear m another column with reference to affairs at Parihaka that the .statements are more conflicting than ever. In f uct, the statement that Mr Ballance proposes to re-garrison Pungarehu is entirely irreconcilable with the statement made by the agent of the Press Association. We' reserve comment until further information shall have come to hand.
