We had a very good sheep sale on the 14th instant. We yarded 2000 Napier sheep, the «vhole of which wo sold at the following rates : — Sheep.— Ewes (culls), 5-j 3d to 5s 6J : ; fresh f nll-inouthed eweß, 7s 6d ; 2 anil itooth rams, bred by Mi Tanner, of Hawke's Bay, £1 10s. Local sheep 704 ynrdod. Prices realized : 2-tooth wothers, : 8s 3d ;fat wethers, 10b and lln. : Cattle. — No cattle were yarded. Pigs;— Small porkers, 10s. ' Cattle,— At ABlmrst on the 15th instant we held a small sale ,of about 70 head of cattle and 200 sheep. Prices realized : Weaners (mixed). £1 14s 6d; 3-y r-old steers, £4 10s 6d ; good yearlingsand 18-months-old, £1 to £1 7s 6d ; 2*-year-old steers, £2 3s 6d. < Sheep. — Sheep dull of sale.
