Tlw eugiuter was instructed to call for tenders for carting timber from the Await uri Bridge. Resolved that the Chairman be empowered to expend the sum of L 5 the settlerß to fund L 3. Also the sum of 50s on a culvert opposite France's, Rangitikei Lino. The Secretary was instructed to write to the rauger re cattle straying ou the Longburti Road, and get him to go to the extremity of the metalled portion. Accounts amounting to upwards of LI6OO were passed for payment. Tiio ineetiug then adjourned.
