The grand jury found no true bill against Boswell for perjury. CHiiIsTCHURCH, April 30. For selling flounders les? than nine inches m length, two fishermen were today finod £1 each. This case was the first brought under the new regulations ' published m the Gazette of Aoril 2nd. An eight-roomed house at Opawawaa destroyed by fire. The fire was caused by a defective chimney. At a - meeting hold at Merivale, a Runnrb of Chrifitchurch, to-night, it was decided to form a branch of the St. John's Ambulance Association. Severn 1 mudical men were present, and over 60 persons subscribed as members of tho branch. The object of the association is to vender assistance to sufferers from accidents or wounds m time of peace or war.
