MESSRS BECKETT, HAMMOND, AND DICK'S REPORT.
Marton, April 29. Our stock sale at the Club Yards yesterday was very successful, the attendance was good aud the bidding spirited. The yards were well filled with useful stock, ahout 100 head of cattle and 2,000 sheep being yarded, all of which, with the exception of two pens, were sold under the hammer ; the balance we placed after the sale at satisfactory fignres. We quote : — Weaners, Hereford, 24s to 32s ; heifers, two-and-a half y»«arß, £2 10s 6d ; fat wethers, 9s lOd to 10s lid ; fat ewes, 9s 4d to 9s 6d ; breeding ewes, 7s 7d to 8s ; inferior do, 4s 9d to 6s 6d ; lambs, 5s 7d.
