Vessel Ashore.
(united press association.) Wanganut, This Day. The brigantine T. W. Lucas from Newcastle laitan with coals is ashore m the South Spit, Wanganui River. She was being towed m by the Huia this morning when the line snapped. She is expected to come off to-night.
