In connection with the capture of Fort Pitt by the Indians, it is feared that 60 of the garrison have been massacred, including the Hon Charles Dickens. News from the Cape states thut seven hundred Boers threaten to rescue Mr Van Niekirk, who has been placed under arrest by the British m Bechuaualaud.
