Laery & Campbell report that business has continued fair. There are few alterations m import lines, and the following quotations are given as present values — First quality, guaranteed flour, £8 15s to £9 ; feed wheat, 2s 6d ; prime short feed oats, 2s 4d to 2s Gd ; discolored do, 2s Id to 2s 3d; fresh and salt butter, 8d per lb ; cheese, 5d to s£d ; bacon and hams, lOd to Is ; potatoes, 55s to 60s. Poultry continues to come forward, but slowly ; fowls are worth about 3s 6d to 3a 9d ; ducks, 3s Gd to 43 ; eggs are scarce at 2s 6d per doz. On accouut of the very boisterous weather on Saturday .there was uot rniich done at the home sale ; most of the horses were of a very inferior stamp.
