It is expected tnat -to-morrow, Tuesday, Government will ask the House of ; Commons, for a. vote of six millions to defray the expenses of military preparation now being carried on. Mebloubne, April 21. It is announced that the Imperial Government have chartered the Peninsular Oriental B.M.S. Eosetta for service as an armed cruiser on the China station, and the Orient steamer Lusitania for similar service m Australian waters.
