FAST CRUISERS FOR NEW ZEALAND.
PUKCHASE OF THE COPTIC BY IMPERIAL GOVERNMENT.
Auckland, April 19. The Coptic has been ohartered by the Imperial Government as a fast cruiser for the New Zealand Coast, Arrangements are now being made to avoid sending her on her Homeward, voyage.
She will go from here to Wellington, and they 1 will be fitted up for her next service.
