(UNITED PRfcSS ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, This Day. In the Divorce Court the case of Monk ton v. Monkton His Honour refused to grant a decree nisi. He considered the case of an unprecendent nature, but the present law gave him no option, cruelty, m the eyes of the lav not having been proved. He expressed a hope that the cai© would be the means of amending the Deceased Wife Sister Act which deprived a woman of her remedy m such a case as the present. Wellington, April 17. A decreenisi was granted yesterday m the case of Waller v. Waller (Wanganui) and also m the case of Smith v. Smith and Strike (Wanganui). In the latter case the jury awarded £50 damages against the co-respondent.
